Alexander McQueen's Fall '17 runway collection is inspired by the ancient traditions of Cornwall, particularly its sacred Cloutie trees and the colorful ribbons tied to them that represent hopes and dreams. This maxi dress is made from ribbed-knit blended with wool and silk, and consists of 12 panels ergonomically shaped around the body and individually laced by hand - the process takes six hours.
